Social Outings & Get Togethers
As well as our organised camping events and roadtrips, we have many social outings and get togethers organised by members themselves.

Do I need to be single to join?
No. Rolling Solo is a community for like-minded women that enjoy travelling, adventure and the outdoors. You don’t have to be single to enjoy those things. Our events, tagalongs, social gatherings and membership is for women that enjoy travelling independently.
I’m partnered with kids, and grandkids! My partner goes & does his thing, and I like to pop off on journeys as a solo traveller.
The idea of Rolling Solo was to create a network & community of women all over Australia of like-minded women to make friends with and meet up on my travels.
Our events, tagalongs & get togethers are for women only. Events are a time for us to leave behind the day to day of domestic life chores and take some time out for ourselves. Chat, laugh, learn and feel comfortable amongst the “gals”.s.
I still work full time. Can I still join?
Of course you can! Most of our camping events span a weekend. Social outings and get togethers can be lunches, coffee meetups, walks, bike rides etc.
Our community is made up of ladies still working full time, part time and those with an abundance of time enjoying retirement.
If you’re in the dreaming and planning stage, it’s a fantastic way to make new friends, learn all about different types of travel styles, tips & tricks, travel information and have a community of like minded women behind you for when it’s your turn to take off on your journey.
I don't have a camping vehicle can I still join in?
Owning a motorhome, campervan or caravan is not a pre-requisite to joining.
Our community is for women that love to travel Australia. As we are “rolling”, having a way to get around is a great start. A growing number of members are just so thrilled to find us and start up camping again that they attend camping get togethers with just their car and a small tent.
Our Rolling Solo organised member weekend & annual Stuck In The Middle events are also held in parks where there is onsite accommodation available, so you can come along and be a part of the tribe even if you’re not “camp” ready.

What's the general age of the members?
What’s funny about our members is once you meet a few, you realise we all are ageless. Fun, laughter, great stories, like-minded friends & life experiences come with all different numbers.
Our members range in age from 30 up to 80.. when you love the outdoors the only thing stopping you enjoying it is usually your attitude.
Here’s the results of a recent poll in the Community…
74% of our members are aged between 50 -70
22% are 70 years and over.

Are pets welcome at Events?
Many members travel with their pets and nearly all of our events are pet friendly.
In some situations there may be an event created by a member that is held in a national park or a camping ground that may not permit pets, but generally well behaved paws are welcome wherever we go.
I'm not very computer savvy, can someone help me?
